Embracing the Call of Salvation

Jesus loves you!

Acknowledge Your Need:

Recognize that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Confess your sins to God and repent, turning away from your old life and choosing to follow Jesus. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour:

Invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life to be your Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9 promises, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

If you are ready to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, you can pray this simple prayer of salvation from your depth of your heart:

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness. I believe that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins and that He rose again from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life now. Help me LORD to know, love, trust, follow and serve You as my Lord, Saviour and God all the days of my life. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit to love and serve You going forward. Thank You Father for saving me and giving me eternal life, in Jesus' name. Amen.

The Significance of Making Decision for Jesus

Making the decision to follow Jesus is not just a momentary act but the beginning of a lifelong journey. It signifies a new birth, a fresh start, and a profound transformation paving the way for your sonship with God and spiritual progress. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" Amen! Praise God!

Steps that Accompany and Sustains Salvation

1. Grow in Your Faith: Engage in regular prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers. These practices will help you grow and strengthen your new faith.

2. Find a Church Community: Connect with a local faith based and Bible Believing Church where you can worship and serve God freely, and be discipled by matured Christians who are following the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. Share Your Faith: Tell others about your decision to follow Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in your life. This is very important, because though the Christian life is a private and personal walk with God, but it is not a secret affair, neither can one hide his or her Christian faith and believes and expect to be saved or continue to truly walk with the Lord Jesus. So, don't be shy nor afraid to openly identify with the Lord Jesus Christ. This open confession and declaration of your Christian faith will help you set the boundaries around your life that will keep you safe, pure, and undefiled from the influences of this dark world of sin and the ungodly, even as your continue on the narrow way that leads to life.

As you embark on this glorious journey of faith, remember that you are not alone. The Holy Spirit, your Helper and Teacher is mightily on your side to lead, guide, direct, strengthen, teach and help you to keep on making good progress in your daily spiritual walk of faith. He will be with you every step of the way, empowering you to live a life of holiness and righteousness that honours God and fulfils His will and purposes. Please, read your Bible and watch and pray. As you do this, the Holy Spirit will help you develop and nurture your spiritual senses to produce the spiritual sensitivity and discernments you need to walk with the Lord and fulfill your God given purpose, and assignments here on earth.

May your decision to surrender to Jesus Christ today bring you everlasting joy, peace, purpose, divine direction and fulfilment in Christ Jesus. Welcome to the family of God! God bless you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
